“I do not like this world except for 3 things! the place where my forehead touches the ground in prostration, the places where people gather for knowledge, seeking good words as they would choose the best dates from the dish, and striving in Allah’s way.” [‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA)]
Signs of the Last Hour
If Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was not a Prophet of God and a fake man, a poet etc. How would he know such a thing would occur in the middle of the desert?
The list of signs are right in front of our eyes but are we going to neglect it and follow our desires?
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (radi Allahu ‘anhu) reported:
I requested the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu alyhi wasallam) to teach me a supplication which I could recite in my Salat (prayer). Thereupon he said, “Recite: ‘Allahumma inni zalamtu nafsi zulman kathiran, wa la yaghfirudh- dhunuba illa Anta, faghfir li maghfiratan min ‘indika, warhamni, innaka Antal-Ghafur-ur-Rahim
(O Allah! I have considerably wronged myself. There is none to forgive the sins but You. So grant me pardon and have mercy on me. You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Compassionate).”’
[Al-Bukhari 8/168 and Muslim 4/2078]
